Since its establishment in May of 2016, the Brooks Joshua Anderson Foundation has worked to fulfill our mission to keep Brooks' legacy alive and ultimately end the mystery of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Through the Books from Brooks Memorial Scholarship and contributions to our partner research foundations, the Aaron Mathew SIDS Research Guild of Seattle Children's Hospital, and the American SIDS Institute, we have put 100% of the funds raised back to work.
In 2022 we partnered with the Cribs for Kids organization to establish The Brooks Anderson Cribs for Kids program at Banner Wyoming Medical Center. We are in the final stages of completing this partnership, and it is our goal that all babies and families in Natrona County will soon have access to a free cribbette for their new baby compliments of our foundation through the completion of the Cribs for Kids safe sleep education course. Our primary goal is to get our program up and rolling locally here in Casper, but have big ambitions that this program can spread to other delivery hospitals throughout Wyoming.
